Our Team

Owner/Optometrist

Dr. Monica Miller attended the New England College of Optometry in Back Bay, Boston. She is licensed to practice optometry in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. She is a member of the AOA and AllDocs. You can find her at any of our four locations ensuring each of our patients have the best eye care experience possible. When she is not at the office, you can find her spending time with her Golden Retriever pup, Finley.

Optometrist/Clinical Field Director

Dr. Te received her optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA. You can find her in any of our City Eye locations either seeing patients or coaching our eye care team. She is licensed to practice optometry and treat glaucoma in both Massachusetts and Connecticut and also sees patients virtually via our Tele-Optometry platform, Connect. Dr. Te enjoys seeing patients of all ages and especially enjoys challenging contact lens fits. When she's not in the office, she enjoys traveling and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

Optometrist

Dr. Lefevre is a graduate of Providence College and the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She is licensed to practice optometry and treat glaucoma in the State of Connecticut. Dr. Lefevre boasts 25+ years of clinical experience. Her favorite part about optometry are the patients. As an empty nester, she and her partner care for their rescue babies, Sophie and Luna.

Optometrist

Dr. Hellman received his undergraduate degree from the George Washington University, and completed his optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. Dr. Hellman is licensed to practice optometry and treat glaucoma in the State of Connecticut. He is grateful for 35+ years of clinical experience working with diverse populations of patients and is particularly proud of his admission as a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. He appreciates when patients demonstrate an interest in their own care, especially when they ask lots of questions to which he enjoys responding! He has been a passionate skier for most of his life and served as a certified ski instructor at the Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont.

Dr. Youssef is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA and is licensed to practice optometry and treat glaucoma in the state of Massachusetts. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages but particularly enjoys contact lenses and ocular disease. In her free time, Dr. Youssef enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her dogs.

Optometrist

Dr. Ho earned her optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA and is licensed to practice optometry and treat glaucoma in the state of Massachusetts. Aside from providing primary eye care, Dr. Ho's clinical interests include managing glaucoma and treating dry eye disease. When not in the office, Dr. Ho spends her time crocheting, amigurumi or working on DIY projects.

Dr. Kang is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She is licensed to practice optometry and treat glaucoma in both Massachusetts and Connecticut and sees patients virtually via our Tele-Optometry platform, Connect.

Clinical Manager

Beth Travers is the clinical manager of City Eye Optometry. She graduated from the University of Tampa prior to pursuing graduate studies at UMass Boston. With 20 years of experience in the eye care industry, Beth specializes in training all members of our eye care team and ensuring all of our patients have a positive experience in our offices. In her free time she enjoys her time with her husband, 2 children and dog.

Lead Optometric Technician

Stefanie is the Lead Optometric Technician at City Eye Optometry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Georgia and pursued further studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Optometry. Stefanie’s professional journey is marked by a passion for eye care and patient well-being. When not in the office, Stefanie finds joy in simple pleasures like binge-watching Netflix series, indulging in gummy bears, and cherishing moments with her cat, Milo.
